On Wednesday 4th December, Jesuit College of Spirituality hosted a workshop addressing Professional Issues in Supervision and Spiritual Direction.
The workshop was well attended, with attendees from various ministries and denominations which shows the importance of this area of ministry.

Deb Kent (CEO-Principal of Jesuit College of Spirituality) presented on Management Issues: contracts, invoices, ABN, fees.
Rev Dr Cecilia Francis (Associate Dean – Supervision at Jesuit College of Spirituality) presented on Record Keeping: Notetaking and confidentiality, legal implications, in supervision & spiritual direction (in relation to her own practice) professional bodies (for example, AAOS and others).
Simon Davies (Director of Professional Standards at the Australian Province of the Society of Jesus) presented on Insurance (Professional Indemnity, insurance bodies, OHS), awareness of workplace regulations and expectations, ethical codes of practice, codes of Conduct.
